This year, we honor the careers of the following individuals: Blaine Armstrong, Cindy Souva, Dave Merkel, Sam Macon, and Lowell Yoas. Collectively, they have dedicated 129 years of service to the students and families of Flat Rock—an extraordinary legacy of commitment, care, and impact. These devoted teachers and administrator have each helped shape the lives of countless students and have left an enduring mark on our district.
Throughout their time with us, they have helped define what it means to be a Ram—demonstrating leadership, compassion, and resilience in every role they’ve held. From inspiring learning in the classroom to providing steady guidance across our schools, their legacies will continue to influence Flat Rock for generations to come.
