Summer Learning

Flat Rock Community Schools is dedicated to ensuring that your child has enriching summer learning opportunities to support their growth all year long. We offer virtual options that include live lessons taught by experienced teachers, providing real-time interaction and guidance. Additionally, we provide asynchronous online activities and challenges that your child can complete at their own pace, offering flexibility and convenience for your family's schedule. Virtual Opportunities

If you want your child to engage with a teacher over the summer, please review the schedule below. During the specified weeks, your child can log in to listen to a read-aloud, join in an ELA activity, and play math games online. Additionally, a weekly check-in survey will be sent through ParentSquare for your child to complete. This survey will align with the weekly SEL lesson and activity conducted virtually to support your child's personal development throughout the summer. Virtual sessions will be held during the following weeks:

  • June 17th - 21st

  • June 24th - 28th

  • July 22nd - 26th

  • July 29th - August 2nd

  • August 5th - August 9th
