The laws of Michigan state that a child's residence for educational purposes is with his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s).



At time of registration Parent(s) or Legal Guardian(s) MUST provide the following documents:


Two proofs of residency, which can include the following items:

  • House closing papers or mortgage documents or apartment or lease/rental agreement
  • Current utility bill
  • Voter registration card


Valid Drivers License


Kindergarten Students:

  • Original birth certificate
  • Social Security Card 
  • Current immunization records
  • Court ordered legal guardianship documents, if applicable


Students Grade 1-12:

  • Original birth certificate
  • Current immunization records
  • Latest report card or high school transcripts
  • Court ordered legal guardianship documents, if applicable
  • Current IEP, if applicable


Please note that during the regular school year, student registrations are done at the appropriate school.  For additional information on our schools, please click on the "Schools" tab to call and make an appointment.


During the summer months, applications may be obtained at the Administration Offices, located at 28639 Division Street.  Please call 734-535-6500 if you have any questions.   


Note to parents registering students for the 2020-2021 school year.  The pre-enrollment application for school is still currently available, although due to the school closures we do not have any further information on when you will be able to complete registration with the school.  As soon as we know when that will take place you will receive an email with information on how to complete registration.  Thank you for your patience in this matter.
