Welcome to Simpson Middle School

The AI classroom at Simpson Middle School is designed to help support students with Autism achieve a quality education and independence through academics and friendships througout the school setting.  Classroom assistants help support students with autism in a variety of settings teaching them appropriate interaction while developing student understanding of academics at the Middle School level. 

Students as part of this program are inclulded in daily classroom activities with same age peers at a level that is comfortable based on each individual student.  Students in this program are expected to follow the school code of conduct and classroom rules for the safety and well being of the entire student body.  

This year I have three wonderful teaching assistants assigned to the classroom to support students with autism throughout the school setting. They are Cheryl, Pam and Laura.
