Welcome to Simpson Middle School. Our 2012 - 2013 school year will be filled with many new experiences and learning opportunities. Our teaching staff is amazing and everyone is here to help you adjust to middle school. Just ask and I will do all I can to make this a very successful year. Third Trimester begins Monday, March the 18th. |
Let me introduce myself to our new Simpson families. I am a proud third generation elementary school teacher. My mother and I are both graduates of U of M-Dearborn. GO BLUE! My daughter, Renee, also graduated to U of M-Ann Arbor is now an Emergency Room doctor in Flint. Her first child was born in August and it was a girl. Maybe she will be a teacher too. I also have one son, Darren, who is working at Henry Ford Community College and works hard for his local union. His family just grown to include 5 grandchildren ages one to thirteen. I am a very proud and busy grandmother but I always have time to complete lesson plans and come up with creative ways to help my students learn. Each school year offers new challenges for all of us to learn from each other. |
Mrs. Macon and I are the Resource Teacher at Simpson Middle School. Mrs. Macon focuses on math, while I work with our students in the area of Language Arts. My Learning Targets are based on the five areas of language arts. These are: Reading, Speaking, Writing, Listening and Viewing.
