We are a learning community of kindergarten through second grade students, 40 staff members, and many parent volunteers. You will find information about our classrooms, Parent Group (BEFSA), upcoming events and other important information on this site. Bobcean Elementary School is located at 28300 Evergreen in Flat Rock. We have about 450 students in kindergarten through second grade and a wonderful, professional teaching staff. Examples of our Standards Based Report Card and a document containing frequently asked questions can be found on the Report Cards page. At Bobcean, we are driven to create and maintain an environment in which everyone is excited about learning, students are safe, and parents feel welcome and needed. Our goal is to give the students the tools necessary for them to succeed in whatever endeavors they choose in life and to establish themselves as responsible, thought-provoking citizens.

Parent Survey Thank you for your input. The staff at Bobcean appreciates all of the wonderful things you like about the school. We also appreciate hearing about the ways that we can become better. All of the responses will be reviewed by the staff in order to make school improvement plans for next year.

KINDERGARTEN and YOUNG FIVES REGISTRATION INFORMATION To register your kindergartener, they must turn 5 by November 1, 2013. Required documents include: Birth certificate (original with raised seal), immunization records, social security card, and two (2) proofs of residency. Registration applications will be passed out on information night and also can be found on our website at: www.flatrockschools.org. Kindergarten and Young Fives registration will be held at Bobcean Elementary School located at 28300 Evergreen Avenue. Listed below are times for registration: Monday -Friday 9:00am -11:00am and 1:00pm -2:30pm If these times do not accommodate your needs, please call our office at 734-535-6900 and we will be happy to set up an alternate appointment that works with your schedule. |
