Welcome to Barnes Elementary School! Barnes Elementary School is a caring, supportive learning environment serving children in grades Third through Fifth. children are given the opportunity to learn in multiple ways and have resources available to them for not only academic success, but positive social and emotional growth. Our teachers and staff are highly qualified and are continually learning new techniques and strategies to meet students' needs and guide them toward success. The most important piece of student success is parents and family support. We welcome and value Barnes parents and community members through our parent program (JMBEFSA) and volunteer programs. Teachers, staff, and parents work together to teach our Barnes Rams to be safe, respectful, and responsible. Please review the student handbook under the school policies link to the left for everything you need to know about drop off/pick up procedures, start and end times, Positive Behavior interventions and Support (PBIS), and much much more.
