Mission Statement

Flat Rock Community Schools will provide the programs necessary to develop the appropriate degree of academic proficiency, emotional development, social awareness and character for all students to become innovators and leaders in a competitive global society.

Belief Statement

• All decisions are made in the best interest of student learning. 
• Teaching research based best practices improve student learning. 
• All students have inheerent worth and are capable of learning. 
• All students are entitled to a safe, positive learning environment. 
• Student learning is enhanced when there is a unified effort and positive communication among home, school and community.
• All students are entitled to an atmosphere where they are free to make and learn from their mistakes.
• Technology is an intergral part of learning.
• All students deserve to be appreciated and respected.
• All students are expected to meet high academic standards.
• Curriculum, instruction, assessment and appropriate academic interventions must be aligned with high standards.
